Claritys elegance comes from the merging of performance and simplicity. Clarity is compatible with so many apps, its sure to satisfy your needs regardless of how your software choices change.

Clarity includes a 1090MHz TIS-B receiver capable of receiving TIS-B rebroadcasts from FAA ground stations. But TIS-B rebroadcast isnt provided unless your aircraft is equipped with ADS-B out and Clarity is not an ADS-B Out device. The Clarity 1090 receiver will receive air-to-air traffic reports from other aircraft equipped with ADS-B Out transmitters. Few aircraft are so equipped, but ADS-B out will be required of most aircraft by Jan 1, 2020 so this capability will only get better.

Clarity includes a high precision WAAS GPS receiver, an internal 6-8 hour battery, and inflight FIS-B (weather radar, forecasts, NOTAMS, etc.), all free of subscription fees. All of this plus TIS-B (traffic) data received is passed along to your iPad/Tablet computer over a multi-device WiFi connection, but TIS-B traffic rebroadcast isnt available unless your airplane is equipped with ADS-B Out. Clarity is not an ADS-B Out device.
