We have included a cooling port on the back of the iPad mini Panel Dock. This port is compatible with standard avionics cooling fans if you decide you want to use this feature.

Per the manufacturer, the Airgizmos Ipad Mini panel dock has grooves that accommodate the lightning connector and the headphone jack.

Per the manufacturer, the Ipad Mini Panel Dock does fit the new ipad mini retina.

Can the Airgizmos Ipad Mini panel dock be mounted horizontal?
Yes, it can be mounted horizontal but note that the mounting holes are positioned for a vertical mount.

Does this AIRGIZMOS IPAD MINI PANEL DOCK work with the new iPad mini 4?
No, the iPad mini 4 panel dock will be released in 2016.

Can the Air Gizmos iPad Mini Panel Dock be installed in type certified aircraft for non-IFR operations?
Yes. The Airgizmos panel dock can be installed in certified aircraft. Hardwire connections are not approved, only the cigarette adapter can be used for charging.

Will the AIRGIZMOS IPAD MINI PANEL DOCK fit an IPad Mini Generation 1 through 3?
Yes, this part will fit for iPad Mini generation 1-3. For Generation 4, please look under P/N 11-14355.
