RC ALLEN 18-1002-1 OIL PRESS / TEMP / CHT 14V

This gauge consists of three moving coil meter movements within a 3" diameter case. Oil temperature is sensed by an MS28034-1 resistance bulb and cyl-inder head temperature is sensed by an AN5546-1 resistance bulb. Oil pres-sure is sensed by a VDO Transducer. Connection is made by a single cannon type connector: Part Number MS3106A-14S-6S.

• Cylinder temperature from 0 to 500°F

• Red line at 249°F

• Red line at 10psi and 100psi
• Yellow Arc from 10psi to 30psi
• Green Arc from 30psi to 60psi

• Cylinder temperature from 0°to 500°F
Green Arc from 220° to 420°F
• Red Line at 460°F

I have a jabiru 2200 engine. Is this a correct instrument to measure oil pressure, temp and cht?

The difference is the 18-1002-5 has range markings and the 18-1000-2 does not have any range markings.

Can RC Allen gauge 18-1002-5 be used in a certified aircraft?
No, part number 18-1002-5 is not TSO'd and can not be installed in certified aircraft.
