The MaxPulse is a solid state landing light controller. The small size and one ounce weight places this controller in a class of its own. Extreme long life, low temperature operation, high current capability, noise free operation and small size makes it a ideal landing light controller for all aircraft. This new STC version sports eight functional pulse, flash and steady state modes of operation. It is also an ideal replacement for old technology controllers requiring large heavy heat sinks and or noisy relays as part of the installation.

Q+A

I'm considering converting my non-pulsed halogen landing & taxi light system to a pulsed LED system. Lots of data about maximum load on the pulse unit but is there a minimum load that the system will operate with? Will LED landing/taxi lights generate enough load to make the pulsing feature work properly? Automotive turn signals/flashers have problem with low current LED bulbs.
Per the manufacturer, there is not a lower limit on the current requirements. They will work fine with the LEDs.

My landing and taxi light are housed together in Cessna 182H. Will it create too much heat to have lights on a pulse?
This unit is approved for this aircraft, and we have no record of any issues with the heat of the units.
