Remote Oil Filter Adapter
CNC Machined from 6061 Aluminum.
For use with oil filters that have a
13/16-16 thread that mounts to the
firewall. Fittings are NOT included.
Not for certified Aircraft.
Q+A
Will a Tempest oil filter work with this adapter? It appears this unit will bolt directly on the firewall? I'm guessing there are 2 line inputs, but nothing for a vernatherm or oil temp?
Per the manufacturer, the oil filter adapter (08-01057) has a 13/16-16 thread and the seal on the filter should be approximately 3 inch OD. Looks like the 103, 104, and 108's have the 13/16-16 thread. The adapter does not have veratherm in it.
