All major components of the ACS spherical cockpit light (10670) are machined from 6061 aluminum billet and anodized per MIL-A-8625. The ball is machined from delrin to avoid plating wear and to improve lubricity. The light is switched on and off by rotating the knurled nozzle. The ball and nozzle subassembly can be easily removed from the front to allow access to the back of the mounting ring if you wish to use machine screws and nuts to mount the light rather than sheet metal screws. The light is available in black and grey and will work with either 14 or 28 volt bulbs.
