Q+A:

Do you have to have a flash set up or do you just plug in the new bulb assembly?
It is plug and play. Just switch out the bulb. Then you simply flip the switch each time you want to change between constant and strobe.

Near as I can tell, I have Whelen combo Nav lights and strobes on my 172D. Would these fit as plug and play replacements?
Per the supplier: My lights are a direct replacement to the combination Whelen strobe and nav lights. They are plug-n-play drop in's. for the front nav (position) lights.

Is the flash intensity greater than the continuous mode, like the Whelen Nav light/strobe combination? Or does it use the same LEDs, just flashing rather than on continuously?
Per the supplier: The strobe mode is 2x brighter than the steady on mode since the power draw is much less and the LEDs can be driven harder.
