With their auspicious beginning unapproved by the powers that be, would be artisans quickly became all the rage as the cartoon characters, lucky symbols, and pin-up dream girls sprang up on the noses of war machines to give courage and morale to the troops, as well as, identify friend from foe in the war torn skies.

“Keeping that vintage feel, we wanted to create something that captured that time period and bring it back to life but with a modern flare – airworthy historic planes, beautiful “girl next door” models and quality design were the key elements." I wanted to take the nose art idea and spin it without losing anything” states Bombshells creator and professional Aviation Photographer, Scott Slocum.

Each 2012 Bombshells Warbirds calendar features 12 months of air to air photography and beautiful models decorously dressed and photographed with each plane. The calendar comes individually wrapped and is in full color, 12x18 inches hanging.
